Prof. Dimitrios P. Lampridis (Dimitris P. Labridis) was born in Thessaloniki, Greece, on July 26, 1958. He received the Dipl.-Eng. Degree and the Ph.D. degree from the School of Electrical Engineering at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTh), Greece, in 1981 and 1989 respecÄvely. During 1982-2008 he has been working at first as a research assistant and later as Lecturer, as Assistant Professor and as Associate Professor at the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at AUTh, Greece. Since 2008 he has been Professor at the same School. From 2017 unÄl 2020 he was Deputy Head at the same School. During the academic years 2010-2011, 2011-2012, 2012-2013, 2019-2020, 2020-2021, 2021-2022 και 2022-2023 he was head of the Power Systems Lab at the same School. During the academic years 2003-2004 and 2004-2005 he was head of the Department of Electric Energy at the same School.
