Prof. Pandelis Biskas was born in Serres in 1977. He received the diploma in Electrical Engineering and the Ph.D. degree from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, in 1999 and 2003 respectively. He also performed his Post Doc research from March 2004 until August 2005 in the same university. From March 2005 till July 2009 he was a power system specialist at the Hellenic Transmission System Operator (HTSO), Market Operation Department. Starting from 23/07/2009 he is a Professor at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, in the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering, where he teaches the courses of “Power Systems Analysis” (7th semester), “Power Systems Operations” (8th semester) and “Electricity Economics” (9th semester). He is a member of the Technical Chamber of Greece and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).
