Traianos Yioultsis

Short Bio

Prof. Traianos V. Yioultsis received the Diploma degree in Electrical Engineering in 1992 and a Ph.D. Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering in 1998, both from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH), Greece. His Doctoral Thesis was on the computational analysis of electromagnetic wave propagation problems. From 2001 to 2002, he was a Post-Doctoral Research Associate with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Illinois at Urbana–Champaign. Since 2002, he has been with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, where he is currently a Professor. He teaches courses on Electromagnetic Fields, RF and Microwave Components, Antennas and Propagation and Computational Electromagnetics. His current reserach include the analysis and design of antennas and microwave circuits with fast computational techniques, and the modeling of complex wave propagation problems. .
